More to Love

What started as a food truck in 2010, Seabirds Kitchen is now a popular brick-and-mortar vegan food biz creating unique, artisanal eats. Small plates include Cauliflower Ceviche and Purple Taquitos. Five-dollar tacos are offered three ways: Beer Battered Avo, Adobo, and Grilled Mushroom. Or carb up on one of their Big Plates, including the Beets Me Burger, Pesto Rigatoni, and Butternut Squash Enchiladas served with black beans. Be sure to leave room for dessert cuz they’ve got it all.

Soothe Your Soul

On another trip I discovered the awesomeness that is Seabirds’ Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup. They go together like chips and guac (also on the menu), peanut butter and jam, and biscuits and gravy—perfectly!

The grilled cheese sandwich combines cashew gruyere spread, creamy basil avocado sauce, and American cheese on Old Town sourdough. And its steamy companion, made with organic tomato, fennel, Italian herbs, and coconut milk, invites you to slow down and enjoy every slurp.
