LONG BEACH, CA
Plant Power Fast Food is changing the game, and in a stylish, 70s theme kinda way. The all-vegan fast food chain, launched in early 2016, now boasts 10 locations, offering a delicious alternative to places like McDonald’s—free of animal products, GMOs, and artificial ingredients. And when it comes to putting the planet first, PPFF isn’t taking any shortcuts. The burgers, fries, shakes, salads, and other good stuff are served in 100% biodegradable materials.
We warmly invite you to come on by and enjoy a delicious meal or snack that’s kind to our animal friends, easy on the planet and good for the body you live in. —The Plant Power Fast Food Family
Breakfast on the Go
I’m such a sucker for breakfast sammies, like PPFF’s ‘Sausage Egg & Cheese’ Muffin. Buttered English muffin, ‘sausage’ patty, JUST Egg, American ‘cheese,’ and fresh spinach… Yeah, baby! In the mood for something extra groovy? Make it a combo. Stacked muffin + coffee + hash brown = FAR OUT. 🚀
Breakfast is only served until 11:00 am. Be there or be square. Because if a Breakfast Burrito or ‘Chicken’ & Waffle sandwich—crispy breaded ‘chicken’, maple ‘aioli,’ and ‘bacon’ between two golden waffles—isn’t enough for you to boogie on over to your nearest PPFF location, you’re trippin.’ Can you dig it?? (Ok, I’m done. 🤓)
The Buffalo ’66
Deliciously Kind All-Stars
What I’m about to do next goes against my foodie nature. Because really, who wants to pick favorites when you have so many? Although I am still making my way through the Plant Power Fast Food menu, here are my top three tried-and-tested picks:
#1 Buffalo 66
#2 ‘Sausage Egg & Cheese’ Muffin
#3 Cookies & Cream ‘Milkshake’

EXPLORING THE CITY
Long Beach isn’t just home to a few of my generation’s greatest artists, like Snoop Dogg, Sublime, and Warren G, and the 90s one-hit wonder The Dove Shack. (Ya, I definitely had the cassette single of Summertime in the LBC playing on repeat.)
Where the Cool Pups Play
Long Beach is also home to Rosie’s Dog Beach. A place where pups of all colors and sizes run free through the sand and ocean as their proud pawrents look on happily and adoringly.
After filling up at Plant Power Fast Food, Romeo and I like to cruise over to Rosie’s Dog Beach for an afternoon in the Southern California sun (or June Gloom like on this day). My little guy loves hangin’ there, lying around and dog watching. 💙 I’m sure your furbabes will love it too.
