Hi! My name is Romeo Einstein Mozart, but most people call me Romeo. And today is my seventh birthday! Yup, it’s my special day. At least that’s what my mom keeps telling me. Well…she’s not my real mom (my biological mom lives with my dad and a couple of my siblings not too far away from here), but I know she loves me just as much.
So my guess is that talking about food all the time gets kind of boring. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a sucker for good vegan noms too. However, it’s my birthday and I think we should take a moment to focus on me for a change.
Tug o’ war is my favorite game. This is me wishing she’d put the camera down and rise to the challenge. My second favorite game is probably the one where she hides treats all around our home and then I get to sniff them out. Not to brag or anything, but I’m sooo good at finding stuff with my nose. If it were up to me, we would play games all day, every day!
Check out my pizza! 🍕 My cousin Mason picked it out for me. It was the best toy I’ve ever had. One day it just disappeared. Mom does this really annoying thing with my toys. As soon as I make my way to the fuzzy center, she puts it in a cabinet under the sink when she thinks I’m not looking. No toy has ever come back from there. I think that’s where my pizza went.
If I’m not playing, then I’m probably sleeping. My mom is NOT a morning person, and neither am I. I have no idea why anyone would want to get out of a cozy bed before 9:00. We also love to take naps. There’s just something about snuggling under a fluffy blanket that makes me feel safe and happy. 💙

A couple weeks ago we went hiking with my new friend Mac. Grandpa had just taken me to get a fresh haircut and I was still smelling pretty good. Not sure what my mom was thinking, making me walk through all that dirt. So I made her carry me!
There is lots of water falling from the sky right now. I hate going outside and getting wet, but I do like the sound of it. Since it only happens once in a long, long while where we live, I’m gonna get back to enjoying it with my mom, right where it’s nice and warm. Good night! 🐾
